Us in action.


So we decided to brave the Guinness World Records Museum last weekend. We had the whole place to ourselves and we soon understood why. It's a little decrepit, dated (some of the records displayed have been broken) and they use this blinding track lighting, which makes it difficult to take a decent picture. But they did give us the opportunity to become world record holders ourselves by providing us with a wee gym - we had fun slapping a punching bag, dribbling a basketball and riding some exercise bikes, but we lost interest before we could break any records. Damn.

Here's a foam model of some guy who holds a windsurfing record and a picture of THE Most Expensive Mass-produced Lava Lamp. Yup, there's a record for that.

...a human Statler (of Statler and Waldorf - the muppet critics) was there, in the appropriate box. It was a sold out show, but he had the whole box to himself, so we decided that Waldorf must have stood him up. My sister tried to creep out and take his picture as we played. Tragically, it was too dark. If you look with a (very) keen eye, you can just make out his silhouette though.



Last night we actualized our childhood dreams by playing in a Muppet Theatre-like venue. With 2 balconies, theatre boxes, and a chandelier, it was truly a near-perfect replica. I was disappointed when the people arrived and they weren't all furry, but...

...but a quirky, national, music video show played our video, then named our album 'Album of the Year' today and - look! - Jamie's name in Danish!
